Job Summary
The Manager of Supply Chain will be responsible for: · Overseeing the entire supply chain process from sourcing materials to managing inventory and ensuring timely delivery · Ensuring the right material at the right time at optimal cost. · Maintaining strong supplier relationships. · Identifying sources, negotiating, procuring and managing stock rooms.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Supplier Management: Establish and maintain responsibilities with suppliers; negotiating contracts, managing conflicts to ensure on time and within specification delivery.
- Cost Management: Analyze market trends and supply chain dynamics to achieve cost reductions while maintaining quality standards. Develop, implement and maintain procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality and supply continuity. Foster collaborative environment that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement. Monitor and manage inventory to achieve neither shortage nor excess. Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Estimation Management: Reviewing, Improving, and Finalizing estimations prior to submission.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Thorough understanding of company products and logistics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Strong typing proficiency and overall computer literacy.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business or related field required.
- 3-5 years of experience as a supervisor, manager, or similarly relevant leadership position required.
