Position Summary:
Aimtron is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Test Analyzer Technician to support our electronic manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing, troubleshooting, and validating electronic assemblies and systems. This is not an entry-level position and requires practical knowledge of electronic test procedures and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform functional and diagnostic testing on PCB assemblies and electronic systems.
- Diagnosis of printed circuit boards and assemblies.
- Repair and rework of electronic assemblies to the component level.
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Operate test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and automated test systems.
- Record test results and maintain accurate documentation of failures and repairs.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve issues.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) testing and validation activities.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and company procedures.
- Identify process improvements to enhance testing efficiency and accuracy.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in electronic testing or related field (EMS environment preferred)
- Excellent soldering and rework skills, including Surface Mount (SMT) and Through-hole (PTH)
- Strong understanding of electronic components, circuits, and assemblies.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Experience using test and measurement equipment.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics or related field.
- Experience in the Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry.
- Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721)
- Experience with automated test equipment (ATE)
